Description
FlexMod LITTELFUSE® Isolator Controller for Sailboats and Nautical Use
Introducing the FlexMod LITTELFUSE® Isolator Controller by Oltrevela.com, an intelligent Smart Battery Management System designed for 12V and 24V applications in marine environments. This electronic unit is specifically engineered to preserve battery charge, ensuring optimal performance and longevity of your onboard power systems.
The isolator controller features an autoranging capability, automatically detecting the voltage level of the system, whether it operates at 12V or 24V. It effectively safeguards the main battery (starting battery) by isolating the auxiliary battery when system voltage drops below a critical threshold. This essential function prevents damage to the primary battery, prolonging its life and ensuring reliable starting power when needed.
Once the system voltage rises to the correct level, the FlexMod LITTELFUSE® automatically reconnects the battery banks, providing seamless integration and functionality. The unit is fully compatible with electronically controlled alternators and eliminates false battery warnings often generated by traditional diode isolators. Additionally, it offers protection against overcurrent, ensuring the safety and reliability of your marine electronics and devices.
Incorporating this advanced isolator controller into your sailboat’s electrical system will enhance battery management and performance, making it an essential component for serious sailors and boating enthusiasts.
