Must be fitted at both ends of a torque tube. Where a self aligning bearing is used, one universal joint connects both torque tubes. Self aligning bearings work up to an angle of 15°. AMK10 universal joints have a maximum permissible working angle of 25
Where practical, the angle at each joint should be balanced.
The WUJ6 universal joint is suitable for use with large gearboxes 18, 20 and 45.
