Minimum side play
The Optimist deck collar is made of Delrin to reduce friction between the sleeve and the collar. The oval inner diameter allows for maximum fore/aft play and minimal side play, while the tapered inner diameter enables precise mast rake adjustment. It features 4 countersunk mounting holes and fits a deck hole size of 57 mm.
The EX1210 model comes with a separate sleeve that fits around the mast at deck level, offering protection from wear and tear. Available at Sailcenter.
