Lightweight
Kilogram for kilogram of working load, the Series 55 Orbit Blocks™ are among the lightest in the world. The unique orbital design restricts the ball bearing only to the active areas of the floating sheave, significantly reducing the mass of the inactive return race and hub. Various configurations of the bozzello further minimize weight and bulk. The ball bearing single and becket block features a through-sheave becket arrangement, resulting in the lowest weight achievable. Multi-sheave bozzelli utilize single intermediate cheeks and an ultra-light, efficient head arrangement, providing a 30% weight advantage compared to competitors. Other manufacturers may merely link their single bozzelli together, which results in unnecessary double cheeks between each sheave, secured with a heavy steel channel across the top, increasing weight unnecessarily.
Highest working load in its class
The orbital ball-bearing arrangement allows for the largest possible bearing race diameter, which maximizes load performance. The proven Ronstan two-stage bearing system is equipped with high compression grade acetal ball bearings and a secondary full-contact bearing, ensuring minimal friction across the entire working load range. The floating sheave and bearing system is supported by a fibre-reinforced load frame, stress optimized through computer modeling. The Dyneema® Link, crafted from Robline SK75 fibre, is ten times stronger and lighter than steel, providing a crucial connection from the bozzello to the load point.

The becket fiddle bozzelli feature a Dyneema® Link attachment for sheet termination, accommodating both spliced and un-spliced lines. For additional purchase options, a becket take-off can be incorporated into any fiddle bozzello version simply by adding a Dyneema® Link.
