The Whale 8L Grey Water Tank is engineered to effectively manage all grey waste on board vessels, even in complex multi-port systems. This tank incorporates built-in sensors that enable automatic control of the pump, which is essential for maintaining optimal waste management on marine vessels. Unlike traditional tanks, this system is capable of handling grey waste temperatures up to 90°C, ensuring versatility in various marine environments.
Designed with practicality in mind, the tank features a triple spray-proof seal cover constructed from durable polyethylene, complete with a clear inspection lid. This design protects the built-in controls from water and minimizes the risk of malfunction due to exposure. Additionally, there are no mobile parts that can jam, enhancing the reliability of the tank’s operation.
The tank’s convex base allows for maximum draining efficiency, ensuring that all waste is evacuated properly. A pre-moulded hose adapter is included, which provides precision when boring holes during installation. The tank is compatible with the Gulper pump, enabling straightforward mounting by following the instructions printed directly on the tank. It integrates seamlessly with the entire Gulper series, allowing for adaptability and effective waste removal.
This tank also features strategically positioned outlet ports and sensor locations that minimize air pumping noise, a common issue with other tanks on the market. For those requiring additional capacity, the 20-litre model offers a 25% increase in volume and is equipped with a dual sensor system. This feature allows for the installation of an additional pump that engages during high inflow situations or can serve as a mount for a high-level alarm system.
