A replacement Whale grey waste tank service kit lid with intelligent control sensor switch that automatically activates the pump to empty grey waste tank only when required. This Whale Grey Waste Tank Lid can also be retrofitted to the Whale Grey Waste Tanks with the older style lids.
This robust Whale spare grey waste tank lid is constructed with dual seal housing to protect the internal electrical components from the harsh environment within the tank and the ‘smooth’ design of the sensor probe section reduces dirt and debris build-up.
The marine grey waste tank spare lid has two pre-stripped wires for easy installation into either a 12 volt or 24 volt system.
What is the difference between a Single Sensor and Twin Sensor Whale Grey Waste Tank Sensor?
The replacement Whale Grey Waste Tank Service Kit Lid is available in two forms:
A Single Sensor Switch:- A single sensor lid will detect water in the grey waste tank at a pre-determined level, and will automatically activate the grey waste pump. When the tank is emptied, the switch will automatically turn the grey waste pump off.
A Twin Sensor Switch:- A twin sensor lid does the same as a single sensor with the addition of another sensor that can be used to control a second grey waste pump. The second sensor is factory set to activate at a higher water level and will provide additional pumping capacity during periods of high inflow to the grey waste tank. Alternatively, the second sensor can be wired to a high-level alarm, warning of a high water level within the grey waste tank.
