Ultra Anchor Ring UAR 80 – 14.5kg Stainless Steel Anchor Ring

The Ultra Anchor Ring UAR 80 is a 14.5kg stainless steel anchor ring designed to help you easily recover a stranded anchor or to add weight to the chain, enhancing the anchor’s effectiveness.

This polished stainless steel tool serves two purposes: it acts as an anchor buddy, also known as an angel, chum, sentinel, or kellet, which helps reduce the anchor chain’s scope in tight anchorages and during light to medium wind conditions. Additionally, it functions as an anchor recovery tool if the anchor becomes fouled.

The Ultra Ring can be easily attached to the chain through its opening and will slide down the chain effortlessly.

Emergency Anchor Recovery Tool

Thanks to its polished stainless steel design, the Ultra Ring glides down the chain and over the anchor’s shank. By pulling on the line in the opposite direction of the chain, you can free the anchor from obstacles, significantly improving the chances of retrieval. This feature is especially important when conditions are not safe for entering the water or when visibility is poor.

The Ultra Anchor Ring allows for a shorter scope by reducing the chain length needed for safe anchoring.
